THE PRIME FOCUS

Members of the CAA receive the current issue of the society's newsletter and journal The Prime Focus each month as an electronic file attached to an email. It is not available in print form for distribution, but the latest and all previous issues are available in the library at the EIOLC. The Prime Focus and the editors who create it have won multiple awards from the Astronomical League; the 2024 Newsletter of the Year from the North Central Region of the AL and the Mabel Sterns third place award from the AL

Each month The Prime Focus features articles from society members, observing notes and a calendar, meeting minutes and updates regarding society projects, and news items from astronomical sources around the world.
